Matilda was a movie about a little girl who happens to be a genius and her parents and brother are mean to her. After she starts school, she finds out that she has special powers.

After Matilda, Danny DeVito went on to appear in a long list of movies, including Man on the Moon (1999), Anything Else (2003), and Big Fish (2003). He is currently married to Rhea Perlman and they have three children. Danny is currently working on acting in and directing several new movies.

After Matilda, Rhea Perlman went on to appear in several tv movies, including Houdini (1998), A Tale of Two Bunnies (2000), and Secret Cutting (2000). She has also made guest appearances tv shows, including "Becker" (2000), "Frasier" (2002), and "Kevin Hill" (2004). She is currently married to Danny DeVito and has three children. She has just finished a new tv movie.

After Matilda, Embeth Davidtz went on to appear in several movies, including The Gingerbread Man (1998), Bicentennial Man (1999), Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), and Thir13en Ghosts (2001). She is currently married and has two children. She is also currently working on a new movie.

Pam Ferris as Agatha Trunchbull

After Matilda, Pam Ferris went on to appear in several movies, including Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) and Gladiatress (2004). She has also appeared as Laura Thyme on the tv show "Rosemary & Thyme" (2003-2006). She has just finished a new movie and is currently working on a tv miniseries called "Jane Eyre".
